PROVERB PRACTICALS

Proverbs 5:20,21, And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. In light of all this, in light of God’s way why would you look outside of your home? What is missing that you are to provide in your home, that causes you to embrace the bosom of a stranger? Why do you forsake that which God blesses to embrace that which God curses? For God provides all that is needed, God provides all the delights in marriage with his blessing and encouragement to be fruitful and to multiply. So why would a man forsake that which God provides, why would a man refuse to put all his efforts and work in improving his marriage garden of Eden? Understanding that all that a man does is observed by the very God who provides in a proper way, all that a man needs. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. God seeth me! God seeth my heart. Is my heart in the marriage or do I look elsewhere? I can go and my neighbor not see me but can I go and God not see me? I can do and think all sorts of things that my neighbor will never know about but what about God? Psalm 139:7-12, Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. And yet a man will dare to do in the presence of God what he would not dare to do in the presence of men. There must be a lack of the fear of the Lord here. There must be a son who does not fear the Lord. And this brings faithlessness. That man does not believe God’s word or he would be faithful to his mate. Jesus told us of right thinking when in: Matthew 10:28 he said, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. That is what blindness brings and the lack of faith. Go ahead and spurn the ways of God. Go ahead and bust out of the safe boundaries that God has established. God has given marriage as a safe boundary wherein man can flourish. But to go outside that boundary is death itself, where the wrath of God abides. There is no liberty apart from God. 2 Corinthians 3:17, says, Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And the liberty that God provides is in accordance with His Word. To step outside of his word is to step outside of liberty into the land of slavery. And in that land they promise liberty but as 2 Peter 2:19 says: While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. There is no liberty in sin, just empty promises of liberty but those promises only deliver corruption and death. Satan has yet to get on board the truth in advertising campaign. And this father brings this to the forefront of his son’s mind. As he says in: Go to Proverbs 5:22 |
